Grid-flow: the democratization of CFD

Grid-flow (ex-WCCH) solver is based on a Finite Volume method but differs from most of the conventional CFD solver by offering a fully automated and integrated CFD environment. Human action is reduced to the setting up of the simulation through a limited number of key parameters. Mesh generation and flow resolving are then carried out by Grid-flow without compromising the numerical accuracy. Grid-flow solver saves time so engineers can dedicate more effort to the design of their product and flow analysis.

High-fidelity results for multi-physics and multi-fluid designs

In many industries – including automotive, aerospace, marine and others – numerical simulation meets the growing need for an increasingly predictive, early and agile design process. Today, numerous and diverse approaches for simulating fluid mechanics exist. Each of them has specific pros and cons. The Grid-flow solver has been developed since 2008 (under the project name “WCCH”) and research is still ongoing to further improve and extend its capabilities. It will in term possess all necessary features to simulate very complex flows for most of the industry needs.
